The Castle Groove Festival Brass Band is a classic New Orleans marching band that plays old-time jazz.

Using classic instruments such as trumpet, trombone, saxophone, banjo, bass, and percussion, as well as a Grand Major with a parasol and top hat, musicians from Basel and the neighboring Markgräflerland region founded the ensemble in 1998 and have been performing at festivals and other events ever since.

With their musical and visual stage presence, they entertain audiences of all ages.
