Bonds Big Band is a wind ensemble from the Municipal Music School that is known far beyond the borders of the Tri-City. It was founded by Christian Leitherer, who serves as the band’s leader. The full lineup of Bonds Big Band’s most experienced members will open the program on the Rathausplatz stage on June 13 at 5:00 p.m.
 
Under the name Bonds Festival Combo, however, smaller groups composed of members of Bonds Big Band and guests will perform at the 3LSF on Sparkassenplatz. These ensembles will play whenever the marching bands have left Sparkassenplatz and headed toward Rathausplatz. This ensures that the audience on Sparkassenplatz can enjoy live music throughout the event.
