SPALEHILL BRASS BAND (CH)

The Spalehill Brass Band was founded in 1984 on the occasion of the first edition of “Em Bebbi sy Jazz” in Basel. Despite some ups and downs, the ensemble has managed to hold its own for more than 40 years, thanks in part to the addition of members from the “Mittwuch’s Band Basel.”

The band will perform at this year’s 3LSF with about ten musicians. They will liven up Sparkassenplatz and Hauptstraße with New Orleans old-time jazz, blues, and Dixie, bringing an incomparable Southern vibe to Weil am Rhein.
