Bal'us'trad is music for living, listening, and dancing. Since 2001, more than 50 musicians have worked with the Alsatian collective at various times and carried out various musical projects, such as “En passant par la montagne,” “Techno Médiévale,” and “Attentat Fanfare.” The name of the ensemble is composed of the French words “bal” (dance event), “us” (short for “customs and traditions”) and “trad” (tradition).

Bal'us'trad presents new compositions and traditional music from various regions of the world at the 3LSF, performed with great enthusiasm and good humor.
